She, as well as her husband who predeceased her in 1990, was very faithful to the small assembly, and will be especially missed by the believers there. She leaves four sons and twelve grandchildren. Walter Gustafson spoke at her funeral service, which was well attended.

Parsons Pond, NF - Marjorie Payne, age 33, on June 13, following open-heart surgery. Our dear sister was saved in 1980, and baptized and received into assembly fellowship in L'anse au Loup. In spite of suffering with a long-term illness, Marjorie was a testimony to the presence of the Lord in her life, always cheerful, bright, and upbeat. Please remember in prayer her husband Wilf, daughter Dayna, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Belben, two sisters, and two brothers. The funeral service was shared by Bert Joyce, Jim Jarvis, and Francis Barney.

Hickory, NC - Teresa Church, age 38, on June 27. She continued faithfully and will be very much missed by all her fellow believers, as well as the community, where she was well known and loved. Please pray for her husband and her two young daughters, as well as for a large number of relatives and neighbors who heard the gospel clearly and compassionately presented by David Oliver at her funeral.

Our esteemed sister was saved in her early thirties in a gospel series in the Okanagan, and with her husband Garner Garrett, was received into the assembly there. After being widowed, she married Bob Klein of Arlington in 1962, and went on faithfully in the assembly, known for her loving spirit and capacity for enjoying God's gifts of life, friends, and family. Predeceased by her husband two years ago, she leaves their combined family of six children and their spouses, 23 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. Her large funeral was shared by Bryan Meyers and John Klein.
