Sometimes we get things mixed up in our thinking and the apostle Paul’s "spend and be spent," becomes "save and be saved. "But the Lord Jesus said "whosoever will save his life will lose it, but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. (Mark 8:35). So brethren and sisters, we must keep it just the way it is. Of our selves, our time, our talent and our means, the Word says "spend and be spent" (2 Cor. 12:15).
And remember His words "And whatsoever thou spendest. ., when I come again, I will repay thee" (Luke 10:35).
